Board Meetings
Overview
The Banquete Independent School District Board of Trustees conducts its business in public meetings in accordance with the Texas Open Meetings Act. Board meetings provide transparency in District governance and allow the community to stay informed about decisions impacting students, staff, and the District as a whole.
The Board holds regular and special called meetings as needed.

Meeting dates, times, and locations are posted in advance on the meeting agenda. Any changes will be reflected on the posted notice.
Agendas
Agendas for all regular and special called Board meetings are posted in advance in compliance with state law. Agendas provide a summary of the items the Board will discuss or act upon during the meeting.
Minutes
Official minutes of Board meetings are approved by the Board and serve as the legal record of the meeting. Minutes are posted 7 days after the board meeting, but are considered unofficial until after Board approval at the next regular Board meeting.
Meeting Recordings
Banquete ISD provides audio and/or video recordings of Board meetings when available to increase transparency and public access.
