Board Policy Online

Overview

The Banquete Independent School District Board of Trustees adopts policies to govern the operation of the District and support student success. Board policies establish expectations for governance, administration, staff, students, and community members.

All Board policies are adopted in accordance with Texas Education Code, Texas Administrative Code, and other applicable state and federal laws.

Accessing Board Policies

Banquete ISD Board policies are available to the public online and are organized by policy code and topic area. These policies include:

  • Legal Policies – Reflect state and federal law

  • Local Policies – Adopted by the Banquete ISD Board of Trustees to address district-specific practices

Policies are maintained through the District’s policy management system and are updated as revisions are adopted by the Board.

Policy Updates and Revisions

The Board of Trustees reviews and updates policies on a regular basis. Proposed revisions are presented during posted Board meetings and are adopted through official Board action.

Once approved, policy updates are incorporated into the District’s policy manual and made available to the public.

Public Participation

Community members are encouraged to stay informed and engaged in the governance of Banquete ISD. Opportunities for public input include:

  • Attendance at regular or special Board meetings

  • Public comment during Board meetings (in accordance with Board policy)

  • Communication with Board members or District administration
