Update 14 Financial Accountability System Resource Guide
The Annual Financial Audit Reports provide a comprehensive review of the District’s financial statements and internal controls. Each year, an independent external auditor conducts a thorough examination to ensure the District’s finances are managed responsibly and in accordance with state and federal requirements.
In compliance with Texas Education Code §44.008, the District is required to post its annual financial audit report on the District’s website. This requirement supports transparency and provides the public with access to information regarding the District’s financial condition and stewardship of public funds.
Audit findings and recommendations, when applicable, are reviewed by administration and the Board of Trustees to support continuous improvement in financial operations.
