The Title IX Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the district’s compliance with Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972, including oversight of reports and complaints involving sex discrimination, sexual harassment, sexual assault, dating violence, domestic violence, and stalking.

How to Report a Title IX Concern

Any student, parent, employee, or third party may report sex discrimination or sexual harassment at any time by contacting the Title IX Coordinator:

Reports may be made during or outside of regular business hours using any of the contact methods listed above.

Nondiscrimination Statement

Banquete ISD does not discriminate on the basis of sex in its education programs or activities and is committed to providing an environment free from sex discrimination, including sexual harassment and sexual violence, in accordance with Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972 and its implementing regulations (34 C.F.R. Part 106).

Retaliation Prohibited

Retaliation against any person for reporting sex discrimination, participating in an investigation, or supporting a Title IX report is strictly prohibited and may result in disciplinary action.
